Torbie (Tortoiseshell Tabby) Cat

In cat fancy, torbie or tortie-tabby is a term used to denote cats with a tortoiseshell coat, having a patched tabby pattern. The torbie cats are rare, and they usually have tabby stripes, lines, or dots, along with black and brown/red tortoiseshell markings.

Torbie Cat Colors

A tortoise tabby cat may have a “split face” appearance with orange/brown on one side and black on another side of the face, divided by a line running down along the bridge of the nose. Some of the common torbie patterns include brown classic torbie, silver classic torbie, and brown mackerel torbie.
